ANTHONY BODIN Managing Director
As Managing Director, Anthony oversees the strategic direction of the Kitaro Group, a subsidiary of Kitaro Corp. Founded in 2016, Kitaro Group is built on the philosophy that our economy is stronger when the right company partners with the right place. Under his leadership, Kitaro Group has become a recognized authority wherever places play a role in business decisions.
Anthony has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sector. His experience includes serving as Assistant Director for International Commerce at the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. In this role, Anthony coordinated a network of global representatives and managed Louisiana’s international business development efforts. Anthony was a Managing Partner for the consulting firm, Sector Group. He has held Research positions with the International Crisis Group, Africa Bureau as well as the Wilson Center out of Washington, D.C.
Anthony holds an MBA from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business where he currently serves as an elected member of the Freeman50 alumni advisory board. Anthony also holds a B.A. in International Affairs from American University’s School of International Service and an International Diploma, cum laude, from the Institut d’études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po); he speaks English, native French and German. Anthony was appointed to Louisiana’s Multimodal Commerce Advisory Commission. Additionally, he served as an inaugural Steering Committee member for the FDI Frontlines Coalition, a non-profit advisory body.
